I live close by and really enjoy having a new spot to come get drinks. Good food/snacks and the place is a nice vibe. I tend to stay downstairs because there is more room for me and friends, but the upstairs is great too! Servers are friendly and their outfits are always good… purr

This is the bar i’ve been waiting for in richmond!!!! (I’ve never left a review before so that’s how you know this place is great!) Went on day 2 of opening and met the owner. Owner and staff are super chill and down to earth! Great space upstairs and downstairs. Drinks were great and music is played on vinyls which makes the atmosphere in the bar feel like a house in the neighborhood. Excited to go back soon

Service and drinks were good upstairs. For some dumb reason they don’t run food upstairs so if you want to eat you have to be seated downstairs. Really dumb, whoever owns or manages this place gotta learn, especially if it’s marketed as a dive.

Free live music on Friday with a killer line up of local jazz artists. Vibe was perfect with comfortable seating, upstairs bar to step away from music and hang. Maybe some sound dampening to prevent the echo could help with the acoustics as music was slightly muddied. Service was great, logistically is hard if you’re off in the corner, some way to increase the efficiency on busy nights with a QR ordering system would be great. Food choices looked good, but a bit too heavy for me. Veggie/health forward dishes would be nice. More NA beer options would also be nice, NA-PBR was the only option. Definitely going to try to make this a regular Friday spot if the music continues, loved it.

If you’re looking for a spot that feels right, this is it. Got to step into Cahoots Neighborhood Bar in The Fan, and I am obsessed with the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where the lighting is perfectly dim, the live jazz is smooth, and the classic cocktails are just what you need. It's giving grown, moody, and sophisticated; perfect for a date night or a proper drink with friends. A huge welcome to the neighborhood for this gem! Go check them out y’all!

I love cahoots!! It’s such a cozy, fun neighborhood bar. From the vibe inside, to the food and drinks, to the jazz, this spot is everything. Highly recommend the $10 burger and beer night! The chef Enrique is great, and Chris the bartender is so sweet! Love this spot and always have the best time here. Happy to have a divey, cozy, cute bar in the fan!
